Who we are

Life is a Speech Limited (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the coaching practice Life Is A Speech. Our address is 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact us at richard@lifeisaspeech.com.

What we collect and why

  • Enquiries. When you send the enquiry form we collect your name, email address and any phone number, company, topic and message you choose to give. We use these to reply to you and arrange a conversation. Our basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe we store your email address to send you the newsletter. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Who we share it with

We use Wix to host this website, store form submissions and send emails. Wix processes this information on our behalf. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their marketing.

We use your email address only to reply to your enquiry or booking, and to send the newsletter if you chose to receive it. If we need a postal or billing address, we use it only for invoices and our records, never for marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: for 2 years after our last contact, then we delete them.
  • Clients we have worked with: for 6 years, because we must keep business and tax records.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. Wix may set essential cookies so the site works.

I use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and which buttons they press. It sets cookies and sends usage data to Google. It only loads if you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Decline, nothing from Google is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To do this, email us at richard@lifeisaspeech.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
